Silvia Sartori: Wedding Videomaker

Hey, I am Silvia!

I am a wedding filmmaker who strives to tell stories through videos—and why not yours! A wedding is a special event that unifies a couple while bringing loved ones together.

A moment in which your story intertwines with those of the ones present who are there to cheer your love.  It is a great occasion to eternalize memories that vividly create future ones.

About me

My story

“Storytelling was a significant part of my childhood. I loved it when my dad would challenge me to create a story out of three words assigned by him.  With the help of the whole family, I would stage the story and attempt to record it with my dad’s Grundig Camcorder VS 8250 Video 8. Since then, time has passed but the love for creating and filming has grown.

When capturing love stories, I tap into emotions that are often hard to describe with words. I want to capture the beauty of your relationship; I want my lenses to reflect who you two are. As an accurate observer, I am also committed to providing a polished film in its full beauty and quality.

I lived in Venice during my university years, studying New Technologies for Art. The stimuli in such a unique city were numerous, and I enjoy returning now to work there. I then flew to Leicester (UK) to further my studies in photography and video, and thanks to this education, I was able to translate my need to tell stories into a tangible reality.

My couples do not simply choose “a filmmaker,” but an external observer whose task is to capture the emotions of their special day and encapsulate them in an eternal video.

I believe the same subject will never be painted the same way by different painters, just as a dish will never be prepared and cooked the same way by different chefs.

When you choose a professional to tell your story, do it with heart, as distance is no longer a problem.

Therefore, going back to the initial question, who is Silvia? She is a bundle of curls and energy, who with her sensitivity makes the memory of a day come alive forever.

My philosophy

I was remarkably close to my grandmother. She always believed in my creative potential.

When she sadly passed away, I began to slowly forget the sound of her voice. During a Christmas afternoon, my father played some old VHS tapes, making me experience emotions that are difficult to explain in words.

I can certainly tell you that I felt relieved that our time together had been captured beyond my memory; I could see it again, listen to her expressions, see her blush in front of the camera.

This is why I am particularly attached to videos, and it fuels my desire to see, capture, and tell a story and crystallize it in time.

What I enjoy in life

I love cinematography, I love beauty, and I love making you cry and then laugh because there is nothing truer than letting yourself go into emotions.

I have always been extremely critical of myself, which made it difficult for me to develop the concept of beauty. I have learned to recognize the beautiful things about myself that I could not see, thanks to others. And this is what I do in turn with my couples because I have realized that we all need it.

I always say that my clients and I choose each other. I enjoy establishing a connection and creating a spontaneous relationship so that I can tell not only your day but also who you are in the best way possible.
